Diane Barney
1955-2009
Diane Barney, our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away on October 3, 2009 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). She died in the hands of her loving mother and sister in her home in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was born February 7, 1955 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Dale and Ila Mae Barney.
Diane graduated from Spanish Fork High School and later graduated from Hollywood Beauty College where she learned how to cut and style hair. Later in life she continued her education and obtained her Associates Degree. Diane helped support her family by working for First Security Bank, Shopko Pharmacy and she owned and operated Kids Count Day Care where many children loved and admired her. Diane loved serving others and served in the LDS church as a primary president, young women’s president, and librarian. But her greatest service was to her children that she loved and adored. She was an amazing mother, nurturer, and caretaker to many.

We would like to thank all those who provided selfless care for our sweet mother.
